Calendar of Events

Monthly judged competition held via Zoom. Three categories are judged: Project, Enhanced Reality, and Realistic. A different outside judge is invited each month. Guests are welcome to observe. Competitions run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month.

Photo Naturalists Camera Club monthly competition meeting. Categories include Wildlife, Open Nature, and Landscapes. Member submissions are due no later than midnight, the Friday before the competition meeting. Visitors are welcome. Meeting held via Zoom — session opens at 6:45pm.

Interclub competitions connect us with photographers beyond our own club. Selected images represent Darkroomers and are judged alongside work from other camera clubs in the region through the Southern California Association of Camera Clubs (SCACC). NOTE: Normally held at the Photographic Arts Building — location TBD pending building repairs. The meeting will start promptly at 7 pm, but we will open the building at 6 pm for setup and social hour. Join us for our Monthly Critique Night! Judges vary by month. Members bring prints for critique on the third Wednesday of each month. Prints accepted by the Judge will hang for up to 2 months in the Photographic Arts Building gallery. Visitors are welcome, however, submitting images for critique is available for members only.
