About SCACC

The Southern California Association of Camera Clubs (SCACC) manages the Photographic Arts Building in Balboa Park. As the parent organization of our Member Clubs, we provide building and logistical support, competition and gallery spaces, and recognition for outstanding photographers across our clubs for their contributions to photography and the arts.

Individuals are welcome to attend any Member Club meeting as a visitor at no cost. However, participation in competitions, critiques, and select private workshops or presentations typically requires membership. Each club has unique requirements, so visit our Member Clubs page to contact a club that aligns with your photographic style or check our calendar for a meeting that fits your schedule. Our Member Clubs are passionate about mentorship—beginners can explore new possibilities and grow their skills, while experienced photographers may enjoy mentoring those just starting out.
